Kathy ZavadaKathy Zavada began her musical career at the early age of 4 years old, featured as th elead singer in a unique sing and dance troupe out of Baltimore, MD, run by a German opera singer, Julie Ozolins Miller. Ms. Miller ran the private Hillendale Sing and Dance Nursery School which presented concerts at special events, for the Governor, and on television. At the age of 13, Kathy was accepted as the youngest piano student at the University of Florida and studied with Dr. Russell Danburg, Senior Professor of the School of Music. Kathy graduated with honors receiving degrees in music and psychology. Ms. Zavada began her professional recording career in 1989 with her debut album, Heart Space, and has released 6 more CDs and sold over 50,000 copies. She has had numerous CDs on best-seller lists at various bookstores across the country. She has performed innumerable concerts, most recently for PBS sponsored by KIXE TV, Redding, CA. She has performed as a featured soloist as well as guest speaker and workshop presenter at hundreds of churches across the United States. Her music receives national airplay, and is used for many modalities of healing, meditation and inspirational workshops. Kathy's most recent CD realease, I'm Right Here, was co-produced by Steve Wood, Kenny Loggin's music director, and is currently receiving exceptional reviews from various magazines, including New Age Voice, NAPRA Journal, New Age Retailer, Mt. Shasta Magazine, and others. This album is featured on National Public Radio along with live interviews with Kathy. Kathy states her inspiration comes from "feeling a deep sense of sacredness of all life, spending considerable time cultivating silence, and spending as much time as possible in service to humanity.
