Pan Brian Paine

Art, like life, is an ever changing process and writing about it is not easy because the art hopefully transcends the written word. I love painting the human form and the human psyche, perhaps more than anything else, although I cannot help exploring just about everything. Isn't life about everything?

Picasso once said the artist is a healer. I hope in some fashion my art has healing qualities. It moves me forward and expresses to me new ideas and sometimes enlightenments. I would like it to do the same for others. That is my goal if I have one.

I hope my love for painting shows through my work and inspires the beholder to seek more freedom, more joy, more wholeness, more of the Divine.

Comments from patrons:

"Pan's Paintings are a tour-de-force of jubilation, a riotous force of nature, explosive in color and movement! His muse is none other than the Goddess in infinite play with Her fertile creative imagination. Pan is Her true devotee moving the art patron toward joyful discovery of the creative self meant for the adult and child in us all! To view and own a Pan Painting is to experience the return of the magical, a realm of pure inspiration. One is touched, moved toward the eternal Joyful Self!"

--Zardoz Magna Dhea, M.T.P.
A delighted Owner & "Z" Gallery exhibitor.

Pan's artwork emanates a sense of mystery . . . from creation to fruition. As an expression of his personality and life process, he opens the eyes of the observer to an inner joy and appreciation for the complexities of life. His paintings of Mt. Shasta exhibit the beauty in our environment and the connection we have with spirit. To see through the eyes of such an established artist is a gift for us. Thank you Pan!
