Wisper KrimmerArtist's Statement
Art (painting) all began for me when my high school art teacher Miss Lienbach said, “Whisper I see your passion and you can paint whatever pleases you with no restrictions of color contrast, cubism, pencils, watercolor, or charcoal.” So it all faded away and I began.
I sit and listen, pick up my brush, pick a color that answers the question, and I begin. Unknowing what the creation will be but also in the knowing of trusting my intuition.
My work is about the inner alignment of color, feeling, and intuition. The colors have a language of their own, and I speak for them. My inspiration comes from within peace of mind. Colors are vibrations of the soul and I listen to how they want to communicate.
I prefer to paint outdoors in the crisp, pure air of Mount Shasta. My intention for those of you who are inspired is to brighten your life and broaden your horizon.
