Alisha HattawayArtist's Statement
Alisha has been studying and performing various forms of dance since age 6. All of that love of dance has culminated into her current profession as Middle Eastern dance performer. Alisha began learning Bellydance 8 years ago and has been dancing professionally for 3 years. She loves bringing the Goddess into the venue through movement and joyful expression. Alisha is also currently the Bellydance teacher at the Flying Lotus Movement Center in Mt. Shasta. Her teaching and performance styles are based in traditional Egyptian and Turkish styles, with American influence. Alisha is available for performances at birthdays, weddings, restaurants, and other special occasions!
