Tony GreenArtist Statement
Anthony Green is an actor, a writer, a director, a producer and the artistic creator of "Acting with Purpose.o/oo More than a just a theatre company, "Acting with Purposeo/oo is a mission. That mission is to provide a space and training for artists in multiple disciplines. In doing so establish a healthy atmosphere where artists can freely exercise their voice and assert their obligation to better the community.
Firm in the belief that my creator gifted me with the talents I have for a reason, I pledge to leave this world better than I found it. If it takes months or years to move forward even the most infinitesimal step we still must take that step. We must always move forward. The forces that push against us are constant and if we aren,t moving forward we will fall back. It may sound naïve but in my heart I know hunger can be eradicated, that disease can be cured and that Peace, in all forms, is attainable. As actor, writer, director or any other label I or anybody may place on me I work to achieve these goals.
