Make A Movie Workshop

present Billy Field, promoter of the home school movie making network, creator of the Make a Movie.net website, author of Make a Movie (Using a Home Camcorder and Other Stuff You Already Own), and Make a Movie About Lewis and Clark, for this exciting 2 day workshop that covers digital camcorder movie making from script to screen!

Billy Field spent 14 years in Hollywood where he worked in editing, camera, lighting and sound, then went on to write for the television series FAME and feature films for Warner Brothers, Twentieth Century Fox and Disney. He presently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he writes screenplays and runs his cyber studio, Make A Movie.Net, - A Worldwide Network of Students Making Movies.
All successfully completed student movies will be shown in the first Annual
Mt. Shasta Student Film Festival this fall! A Panel of judges will choose the best film in several categories and awards will be presented. Completed movies are also eligible to be broadcast from the Make a Movie.net website!
Cost is $75 per person for the full two days. Lunch is not included. Space is limited to 25 participants. Students will be offered an optional follow up series of 6 classes, with a local mentor, to help them finish their projects. The cost for the 6 -2 - hour sessions will be $80 per student (includes $30 text book).
