Voices Between the Mountains
Coming of Age in the Siskiyous
A team of young filmmakers from the towns of Mt. Shasta, Happy Camp and the Karuk Nation will create a film about the geography, culture and history of Siskiyou County. For more information, see the Voices Between the Mountains web page.

Join SAC at our monthly Board Meetings
The Siskiyou Arts Council Board of Directors invites the public to attend our monthly board meetings, held generally the first Thursday of each month at locations around Siskiyou County. Our next meeting will be in Weed on November 1st at Greenshield Hall Room 1, College of the Siskiyous on the Weed COS campus. Greet at 6:00pm, meeing begins at 6:30pm. Youth Arts Classes
The Siskiyou Arts Bus Project (SAC's mobile art studio for children) is presenting a variety of arts classes this year throughout Siskiyou County. School arts programs are taking place in conjunction with Siskiyou County Education Department. Community classes in fine arts, crafts, toddler movement classes and art for special needs students are also planned. For more information, or to help support these great opportunities for kids, call 530-926-1909.

Support the Arts!
Please join us with a yearly membership as a Friend of the Siskiyou Arts Council. Your contribution is fully tax deductible and used to promote arts activities throughout the County. And please volunteer to help with arts events, classes and programs! Working together we will empower the arts to bring heart and soul to our communities, to all our neighbors, for our children and ourselves.


Are You Interested in Teaching Art, Music, Writing or Performing Arts? The Siskiyou Arts Council is often asked, "Is there a list of people who can teach classes?" To than end, we are building a database of teachers for the arts. To participate, please print and mail in the Teaching Registry (a pdf application - requires the free Acrobat Reader application to open) or phone 938-0130 and leave your mailing information so we can send this form to you.
